Today just so happens to be perfect for looking back at what God has done through A Divine Encounter over this past year.
Because even though it’s good and right for our eyes to be fixed ahead, following our Savior boldly into the future…
it’s also good and right to look back sometimes. To remember His goodness. To reflect upon His faithfulness.
Because seeing what He has done inspires confidence in what He will do.
By His grace, two hundred thousand people visited this little corner of cyberspace in 2015.
Oh, how I pray those souls were touched in a way that brings blessing to them and glory to God! It’s my most fervent desire that here they’ve encountered flashing arrows pointing toward our Savior, and neon lights shining on Him.
Honestly, I tremble at the responsibility that I bear when even one person reads the words I write here (James 3:1). Until I remember that the One who calls me will be with me, equipping me and sustaining me.
And that’s just the way I like it. Because magnifying His name and broadcasting His fame are the sincerest desires of my heart. Anything and everything good about A Divine Encounter always and ever goes back to the One who invites us to encounter Him in the first place. He is the Author, and He is the Finisher.
In honor of the good work He performs here, I present to you the top seven posts of 2015. I’ve been blessed by looking back on them, and I pray that you are, too.

And the top post from A Divine Encounter for 2015 is…
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).
