Is there time in every 24-hour period to do what God wants us to do?
To answer this question, one must simply consider the character of our Father.
Would the One who knows our weaknesses, sympathizes with us in them, and loves us in spite of them plan for us a distressed, harried, and hopeless life by assigning more tasks than we could possibly fulfill each day?
Of course He wouldn’t.
And yet, that distressed, harried, and hopeless life is exactly what we choose for ourselves.
We choose it by giving in to the demands of the urgent, while failing to plan for what’s really important.
We let life happen.
Instead of living it on purpose.
