A sweet truth from the Bible is that as a redeemed child of God, He has plans for you.

Plans to sanctify you, setting apart for His purposes.

Plans to use you in His work in the world.

Plans to purify you from all uncleanness.

Plans to establish you, perfecting that which concerns you.

Plans to conform you to the image of His Son.

But God’s enemy and yours, Satan himself, also has plans for you.

In a nutshell, his plans are aimed at thwarting God’s plans.

You’re his target, and so it’s crucial to know his methods.

Jesus Himself called Satan the father of lies (John 8:44), and there’s no doubt that Satan uses lies to deceive us.

But what we often overlook about this tactic – and just maybe what makes it so deceptive – is that the lie is often wrapped in a veneer of truth.

In today’s featured post, Ally shares boldly about the “Half-Truth Prince,” alerting us to one of the devil’s favorite schemes and pointing us back to the pure truth of the Scriptures.
