In times like these, with our morally bankrupt culture opposing Christianity at every turn, one thing is abundantly clear.

We need each other.

We need the fellowship of other believers – our brothers and sisters in the most real and true sense of the words.

Just as importantly, we need to learn from more mature Christians, and we need to teach those who are just starting their walk with the Lord.

We do this by taking the time to invest in each other, and then taking the extra time to dig beyond the surface level topics about how our day was and oh, isn’t this lovely weather we’re having.

One of the most overlooked aspects of Christian living is mentorship.

Today’s featured post highlights this topic, offering five simple questions to jumpstart conversations that are marked by depth and meaning.

Will you pray over the next couple of days about who God would have you to come alongside in a mentoring relationship?

Take the plunge and invite them out for coffee. Ask them if they would like to develop this kind of relationship, and then use these questions as a springboard, plunging you toward deeper, richer, more meaningful relationships.
