I’ve been noticing a disturbing trend in our culture today.
To put it simply, deception abounds.
We see it in the tabloids. In politics. In the news.
We see it in our schools. In our places of employment. And even in our chuches.
Some deceptions are easy to discern.
Others are much more subtle and difficult to detect.
One of those sneaky lies is that physical beauty is of utmost importance.
It’s not a new lie, that’s for sure.
But it has a bigger platform than ever with the explosion of social media.
For that reason, I think it’s crucial for Christian women to encourage each other to cultivate our inner beauty.
It is, after all, precious to God. He actually says that! (I Peter 3:3-4)
Today’s featured post from Beautiful in Jesus is the kind of inspiration that you and I need in.
It’s the kind that bears witness of the work of Jesus Christ in our lives as we abide in Him, where our true beauty comes shining through.
