One of my favorite things is hearing my kids sing worship songs.
I think their favorite is Building 429’s Where I Belong.
You can find that song here, and maybe even listen to it while you read this post. I think it will bless you.
It makes me smile to hear my kids belt out: “All I know is I’m not home yet. This is not where I belong! Take this world and give me Jesus. This is not where I belong!”
Have you ever felt homesick for that Home? The one your Savior is preparing for you even now? I sure have.
There are all kinds of reasons why we might feel Homesick for heaven. Physical illness. A broken heart. Depression. Loneliness. Intense seasons of trials. Our own battles against sin. Fatigue and discouragement in ministry. The evil that seems to run rampant in the world.
In today’s featured post from Fruit of Brokenness, Melinda shares her own feelings of homesickness, and points us toward the unfailing hope we have in Jesus Christ.
