“God places in each of us something special. Something that energizes us. From a calling to a cause or an event to an activity, in it we find the beating faster of our hearts and the stirrings of excitement.

We call it passion.”

When you read this description of passion, an excerpt from today’s featured post, what comes to your mind?

What calling or cause makes your heart beat faster?

What event or activity stirs excitement?

As we identify our God-given passions, we begin to recognize His unique calling on our lives.

But as with any good thing from God, His enemy wants nothing more than to pervert our passion. To squelch it. To chip away at it little by little with one lie after another, hoping to eradicate our passion altogether.

In today’s featured post, Lori Schumaker shares a wealth of truth for passion-pursuers like you and me. Truth that equips us to wage war against the one who wants to prevent us from stewarding our passion for the glory of God.

No matter what your passion is, you’ll be challenged and encouraged by Lori’s discerning words.

    Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for featuring my post! What an honor! I know that as I took those brave steps to follow my passion, it felt scary at times and downright discouraging at others. Almost every other person I talk to says the very same thing. My prayer is that this post encourages someone who needs to remember their passion is worth it! I pray they hold onto the hand of Jesus and keep putting one step in front of the other!
    Blessings and smiles,
