Maybe it’s because my husband and I renewed our vows this past Sunday in a sweet ceremony following our 9-week marriage class…

but there was no doubt about what today’s featured post would be.

Rebekah Hallberg is one of my very favorite bloggers for many reasons, but the biggest one is that she is one hundred percent, completely genuine in every way.

She writes about hard things, especially pertaining to marriage.

And while that’s not terribly uncommon, Becky does so with an extra measure of credibility because she has been to the breaking point.

She has visited that place so many wives have faced, where staying with him feels like a death sentence and leaving him feels like your only hope.

And through it all she has faithfully followed God – sometimes with tiptoes and sometimes giant leaps – even when it felt like her heart was shattering.

And guess what?

God has sustained her.

He is sustaining her.

He has brought redemption.

And He’s still bringing it.

If you’re in a hard place in your marriage – or if you’re ministering to someone who’s in that spot – visit Becky’s blog and be encouraged by her candor, her wisdom, and her strength.
