As a Christ-following woman who also happens to be entrusted with children, I don’t know of anything I can do for them that’s more important than prayer.
And perhaps the most important prayer I can lift is for their salvation.
Praying the Scriptures is a meaningful way to unite our hearts with God’s, and to communicate to our Father that we cherish His Word. Today at Satisfaction Through Christ, I’m offering ten Scripture-based prayers for your unsaved children and other loved ones.
Here’s an excerpt:
“Isn’t our God wonderful?
We have tasted and seen that He is good.
We have experienced the overwhelming fullness of joy in His presence.
We can testify that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
One of the hallmarks of a Christ-follower is that we long for others to know Him, too. Especially those we love…”
Your graphic is so right! What would I do without the privilege of prayer. I’m a wordy girl. But, prayer helps God talk to me more than me talk to God. I loved your complete post over at Satisfaction….
Welcome, Bonny! The divine conversation is a beautiful thing, isn’t it? How blessed we are, and how gracious our God is to invite us into His presence through prayer. Thank you so much for reading, and for sharing this encouragement. Blessings to you!
