Today, it’s my thrill and honor to announce a new partnership! I’m proud to now be a contributor at Intoxicated on Life – your ultimate resource for raising healthy families in body, mind, and soul. I’ll be writing monthly about Christian parenting, and I hope you’ll join me there!
In my first post at Intoxicated on Life, I’m addressing a problem we recently discovered in our home. A problem that’s irritating and aggravating and all too common, I suspect. Here’s an excerpt:
“I didn’t want that kind!”
“Oatmeal again?”
“Why did she get the bigger one?”
“I hate emptying trash cans.”
“Awww, man!”
I endured comments like these for weeks and maybe even months before I suddenly had an epiphany.
My kids have a complaining habit.
Hop over to Intoxicated on Life with me, where I continue with some thoughts about why it took me so long to recognize our complaining habit, what God has to say about complaining, and some strategies we’re employing to get rid of the grumbling. Read the rest of the post here, just a click away!
