It’s really not very much fun listening to yourself talk, without receiving feedback from those whose opinions matter to you.
With that being said…
I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! Whether you’d like to communicate a comment, a question, or a suggestion, your thoughts are truly important to me. You may contact me in the following ways:

I am so glad to have found your website through Pinterest. How timely your discussion on Homosexuality is. A close family member has recently revealed her homosexuality. She has been a very strong Christian, but has chosen to walk away from it knowing the teaching of the Bible on the lifestyle she has chosen. Loving her and praying for God to “renew her mind” are the things we are concentrating on. I would be interested in your comments about attending this person’s wedding. Thank you so much for your wisdom, spirit and for sharing Biblical truths.

Hi, Ceresa, and welcome! Your family member is very blessed to have you in her life. Your question about attending a so-called “same-sex wedding” is a great one. I don’t think there’s a single “right-or-wrong” answer to that issue. There are convincing reasons why one might attend, and equally convincing reasons why one might not attend.
At this point in time, I don’t think I personally could attend this type of ceremony in good conscience. I would welcome the opportunity to attend a birthday party, a retirement party, or a graduation. I would also welcome other social interactions. But since it’s my opinion that approval is implied with attendance at this kind of service, I would have to politely decline. However, I would try to do it in such a way that affirmed my love for the person involved, asking for understanding and requesting another opportunity to spend time with her. I would gently let her know that I would never ask her to do something that violates her conscience before God, and I would beg that she have the same respect for me.
I’m confident that a compelling argument could be made for the opposite point of view, and I respect those opinions. Ultimately, I believe wholeheartedly that this is not something God wants you to be confused about; He has a particular desire for each of His children facing this issue, and He will reveal that to you through the course of your relationship with Him.

Dear Jennifer,
I would like your scriptures but I have a small problem! I have an iPad and I don’t have a printer! I’m disabled and don’t get out except to the dr. Or dentist!! This really sounds so crazy to me, as I was extremely on the go constantly before cancer intervened in my life! Due to the cancer, I got an auto immune disease that has taken away my equilibrium! It’s difficult, but I know there is a plan for me! If these are virtual cards, I’ll only be able to read them if I look at the iPad, I wouldn’t be able to hold them and read them anywhere but the iPad! If this is a problem, I’ll do what has to be done! Thank you, Dee. Lavers

Hello, Dee, and thanks for your interest in the Scriptures. I’m not able to send printed copies, unfortunately; hopefully, it will still be helpful to download them on your iPad and access them that way. I’m sorry to hear about your health issues, but I praise the Lord for your faith and I will pray for you, that God would help you to know Him, love Him, and serve Him with all your heart and all your soul.

How do I print out an article or blog? I would like to share the 10 Prayers of Surrender with a friend, but don’t want all the ads and comments attached to the page. Thanks.
Jennifer Clarke says
Hi, Sanna, and welcome! The exact method will depend on your browser, I believe. If all else fails, you can copy and paste them into a word processor, and print from there. I hope this is helpful, and I pray that the prayers are a blessing to you and your friend.

You may not sell them in any way, shape, or form, and you may not use them for printables. However, you may use publish them on two conditions. First, you must use the entire image, with no cropping. Second, you must include this statement beneath the image: “Image shared with permission from A Divine Encounter,” with the words “A Divine Encounter” hyperlinked to my website. Hello, I just came accross your blog post “Twelve Prayer for your Local Church, the comments section there was not “open” so I’m dropping this here. I hope it is OK for me to use your prayers as a guideline for a small prayer meeting we are having tomorrow morning. I know they will be a great guide for us as we pray for our Church. Thank you in advance.

Hi
I saw your post about the Sabbath and that you used this verse to support not needing to worship on the Saturday sabbath. “And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him. Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.”
Colossians 2:13-17
If we read the text carefully we see that it is not saying the law was nailed to the cross, but that our trespasses and the record of debt was what nailed to the cross. Why would God tell us in Isaiah 8:20 that it is by the law and the testimony that we can decipher what is truth, and then take away one of the instruments that He tells us to use? Seems like a mean trick to me. I recently came across this comment,
“Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The Catholic Church protests that it transferred Christian worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday.” Rome’s Challenge http://www.immaculateheart.com/maryonline Dec 2003.”
Hope this helps.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your perspective. I didn’t state that the law was nailed to the cross; Christ is the fulfillment of the law on our behalf. According to Jesus’ own words & example, the Sabbath was made for people, and not people for the Sabbath. It is the principle of the law that matters more than the letter, which is why God tells us not to judge one another regarding Sabbath observance. Blessings to you!
