What greater comfort could you ask for in this high calling of motherhood?
On the hardest days,
He calls you.
And He equips you.
When you’re uncertain and confused,
He calls you.
And He equips you.
When you’re incapable and overwhelmed and exhausted,
He calls you.
And He equips you.
“…everything you need for life and godliness.” (2 Peter 1:3)
“…thoroughly equipped, lacking in nothing.” (2 Timothy 3:17)
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made PERFECT in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Will you believe Him? Or will you live in defeat and despair?
Will you receive the sufficient grace He promises? Or will you live as if you’re a spiritual beggar?
Will you rely on your Heavenly Father? Or will you play the role of helpless orphan?
Will you choose to delight in your weaknesses, hardships, and difficulties, trusting that His strength shines through in your weakest moments (2 Corinthians 12:10)? Or will you struggle and strain against the trials of motherhood, looking longingly ahead to the days when the children are older and not so needy?
The choice is yours.
He has already chosen.
And He chose YOU,
FOR THIS!
